Farirai Manonose

I am a dedicated Geologist with a strong background in underground and open pit mining, complemented by my expertise in GIS data analysis and data management. Currently, I serve as a Geology Technician at Anglo American's Unki Platinum Mine, where I oversee two underground sections, ensuring optimal ore extraction and operational efficiency. My role involves supervising drill rig operators and managing grade control databases, which has honed my leadership and technical skills.

Throughout my career, I have successfully produced over 80 maps using ArcGIS Pro for various geological purposes and improved grade tracking by implementing effective waste management strategies. My educational background includes a B.Sc. in Geosciences from Nelson Mandela University, where I specialized in structural geology and GIS. I am also pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of London, which has further enhanced my programming and data science skills.
