What I'm looking for

I am seeking a research or GIS role where I can apply geospatial analysis and Python skills to support evidence-based policy, with opportunities for skill growth and public-impact work.

I am a Geographical Information Sciences graduate with hands-on experience applying geospatial methods to policy and constituency research at the Parliament of Zimbabwe. I bring strong Python programming, spatial statistics and database management skills developed through my degree and internship work.

During my research internship I produced constituency profiles, analytical maps (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, QGIS) and conducted field verification and outreach to support multiple parliamentary committees. I have experience managing spatial databases, conducting quantitative analysis, and synthesizing findings into clear reports for decision-makers.

I am motivated to apply geoscience and GIS expertise to inform sustainable development and public policy, and to continue growing my technical and research capabilities in a role that supports evidence-based planning.
