What I'm looking for

I'm looking for local or remote opportunities worldwide where I can build AI and bioinformatics tools, develop deep learning methods, and make complex biological data analysis accessible to users.

I'm developing agentic AI systems and bioinformatics software at BioBam Bioinformatics, including a LangGraph-based LLM agent for OmicsBox that helps users explore data, configure workflows, launch analyses, and interpret results.

I've independently designed PLM2GO, a deep learning method for protein function prediction, spanning public protein-data engineering, protein language models, training and evaluation, and AWS orchestration. I also develop, maintain, and support OmicsBox's long-read transcriptomics module, making long-read RNA-seq analysis more accessible to biologists.

My long-read RNA-sequencing work includes a first-author bioRxiv publication, accepted in Nature Communications, on handling biological replicates in transcript reconstruction benchmarking across PacBio, ONT, and Illumina platforms.

Previously at RISC Software, I built a hybrid German named-entity recognition pipeline for traffic-incident reporting and applied dimensionality reduction and deep convolutional autoencoders to clinical time-series anomaly detection. I work across Python, deep learning, NLP, workflow infrastructure, and scientific communication.
