At Old Mutual Zimbabwe, I underwrite short-term insurance across motor, homeowners, travel and agriculture, handling new business, renewals, quotations, risk-based pricing and vehicle valuations. I also manage Omari HomeCare end-to-end, sustaining an 80% renewal rate through proactive client engagement, cross-selling and consistent service delivery.
My actuarial internship strengthened my grounding in IFRS17 reserving, pension administration, valuations, product monitoring and data analysis. I'm pursuing an MSc in Risk Management and Insurance at NUST and bring quantitative rigour to underwriting, risk and product decisions.
