What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my GIS expertise in sustainable development and disaster management, while fostering collaboration and innovation within a dynamic team.

I am an experienced GIS Specialist and Project Manager with a strong background in spatial analysis and stakeholder engagement. My expertise lies in providing geospatial solutions that promote environmental sustainability. I have a passion for leveraging technology to enhance disaster management and sustainable development initiatives.

Throughout my career, I have successfully managed GIS-based environmental projects and climate change mitigation strategies at EcoHarmony East Africa Ltd. I have also digitized maps for emergency response efforts with the OpenStreetMap Team, contributing valuable geospatial data for humanitarian applications. My technical skills include proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, and various remote sensing tools, which I have utilized to create impactful solutions in urban transport analysis and crisis mapping.

In addition to my project work, I have developed and facilitated training sessions on GIS software, empowering others with the knowledge to utilize geospatial data effectively. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Project Planning & Management at the University of Nairobi, further enhancing my capabilities in project management and sustainability planning.
