Entry-level banking relationship professional and research-focused assistant passionate about customer experience and community impact.
What I'm looking for
I’m an entry-level banking relationship professional and research-focused intern with a strong commitment to service, inclusion, and measurable community outcomes. At Equity Bank (Relationship Officer Intern), I responded to over 100 customer complaints daily, transacted over 25 Million RWF daily, linked over 50 bank accounts daily to customers’ mobile phones, and opened over 50 bank accounts.
I also supported agent growth by mobilizing outreach to onboard over 300 Equity Bank agents monthly, and I was considered the best intern of the March. Alongside banking, I gained field research experience as an intern fieldwork research assistant at the Diane Fossey Gorilla Fund, supporting Volcano National Park conservation work, setting up seven camera traps, and helping with five community outreach sessions across Rubavu and Musanze districts.
Beyond work, I lead with empathy and action: as a People with disabilities sector spokesperson (Karama Sector), I trained over 30 persons with disabilities in self-advocacy and advocated for accessible facilities. I’ve also served in leadership and mentorship roles, including peer counseling for 63 mentees and founding a STEM education community that grew from 12 pioneers to 156 members through workshops and hands-on projects.
