What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine laboratory skills with field research—using research design, data analysis, and biostatistics to support biodiversity conservation and plant science improvement, while learning from a collaborative team.

I’m an educational researcher driven by the belief that “knowing that you know nothing is the key to knowing.” My curiosity shows up as persistence: I focus, keep going until I find the answer, and enjoy turning complex questions into clear findings.

In my internships, I supported biodiversity conservation research at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, where I observed plant growth and pollination, worked in the nursery caring for seedlings, contributed to community programs like mushroom cultivation, and helped compile internship reports. I also conducted research and data collection at Rwanda Forestry Authority (Research and Tree seed unit), supporting project planning, reporting, administrative documentation, and team coordination.

With a Bachelor’s with Honor’s degree in Biotechnologies (Plant Biotechnology), I bring strong laboratory proficiency and research discipline—research design and management, biological analysis, biostatistical methods, and data analysis. I’m especially skilled in Plant Tissue Culture, plant genetic engineering, bioinformatics, genetics, microbiology, and taxonomy, and I’m ready to apply these skills to plant science improvement, biodiversity conservation, and rigorous field- and lab-based studies.
