Emily Schultz

I’m a Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with 6+ years designing and delivering high-impact health, safety, and learning initiatives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. I lead teams to strengthen workplace culture, engagement, and employee safety while building practical programs people can rely on.

At Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (August 2019–Present), I’ve managed laboratory safety, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, and emergency response to ensure compliance with EHS best practices and company values. I also leverage tools like Enablon and Power BI to inform strategies and measure impact, and I’ve been recognized in 2022 and 2024 for leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Before that, I supported community and health equity work through a Health & Wellness Intern role at Trinity Alliance and as a Research Assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY. I focused on training design, research and program evaluations, grant writing, and project management—always with empathy and a bias toward measurable outcomes.

I bring a strong foundation from my MPH (University at Albany, SUNY) and safety credentials, including Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). I’m also actively involved in DEI and learning—serving on the WISER board and delivering guest lecturer sessions—while supporting holistic wellbeing through my yoga instruction.
