I’m an Experienced Medical Assistant with expertise in primary care and dermatology, focused on supporting patients and contributing to a strong team culture. I thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in a reliable, hardworking approach that keeps clinical operations running smoothly.
In my current work as a Medical assistant/Scribe, I perform skin cancer screenings, documenting lesions and assisting with biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and curettage. I also prepare and label pathology specimens, set up and maintain sterile fields, and help ensure providers have what they need during each visit.
I’m equally confident handling patient logistics and care details—entering information into Flexscan/EHR, scheduling and processing referrals, and managing prior authorizations. I provide patient education on skin cancer, sun protection, wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure instructions so patients feel informed and comfortable.
Earlier roles and externship experience strengthened my communication, time management, and critical thinking in high-volume settings. From scribing to administering medications as directed, rooming patients, recording vitals, and supporting diagnostic testing, I bring a calm, organized presence that helps patients and providers move through care efficiently.
