Dorene Mazima

I've led community engagement at Bloomers Women's Community, guiding a 12-member leadership team and supporting a community of more than 150 members. I develop engagement strategies, coordinate virtual sessions, and provide mentorship support that strengthens online connection.

At a youth camp in Finland, I managed Instagram content and created reels that generated more than 4,000 views. Through active content engagement, I helped grow the account by nearly 70 followers in two weeks.

I've also contributed to community research with the Swiss Red Cross in Kajaani, co-producing reports that supported growth from 20 to more than 300 regular community members. As a Bloomers discipleship volunteer, I designed Canva announcements and visual materials while supporting event communication and coordination.

Through my personal series, Footage from My Diary and My Friends from My POV, I use faith-centered storytelling, vulnerability, friendship, and positivity to encourage confidence and connection across cultures.
