I have over 25+ years of FileMaker development experience and 16+ years of private consulting and I have worked with the following database packages:  FileMaker Pro version 6, 8, 8.5, 9,10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.3 and currently FileMaker 21, Visual Basic.NET, Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0, Access 97, Access 2000, 4th Dimension (4D), Oracle Power Object (also some Oracle Developer 2000), Visual FoxPro, Delphi, RBase, and Dbase 3. I have  worked with PL/SQL, MySQL, SQL Server 6.5 and 7.0, Sybase and DB2.  I have worked on Windows platforms 98, ME, NT, 2000, Windows 7, 8, 10 and the Macintosh platform (OS 7.6 to OS 14 ( Sonoma )).

My FileMaker experience extends to both Mac and Windows platforms.  I have experience with setting up and administering FileMaker Server via the Admin Console.  I've worked with a number of 3rd party plugins from Troi, 360 Works, Scodigo and Productive Computing.  I adhere to the anchor-buoy way when it comes to the relationships graph.  I’ve also used the Selector-Connector way when appropriate.  I’ve done work integrating FileMaker with SQL Server, MySQL, FoxPro, Oracle, Sybase, Access, QuickBooks and other ODBC compliant backend databases.  

I’ve used the Filemaker Data API via JSON data exchange to connect with Google ( pulling google map info. ), Encircle ( for submitting online claims for the restoration business commercial and residential ), Jotform ( pulling data from user inputs from online forms ), Currency information ( pulling the latest currency info. https://freecurrencyapi.com ), Paypal and Salesforce.  I’ve used the Filemaker Admin API strictly for meta data pulling information on tables, clients, plugins, SSL Cert info, backup schedule and creating an interface to disconnect clients and send client messages.  I’ve done some web work using the FileMaker API for PHP and of course the Filemaker native Web Direct.  

I've created iPad and iPhone FileMaker applications using FileMaker Go.  I’ve done some Wordpress development using Elementor plugin page maker and some Wordpress to Filemaker integration.  I have web development experience having worked with FM Webschool's FM Studio & FileMaker in conjunction with the FileMaker API/PHP plugin, FX.PHP, WebServer4D, Cold Fusion (middleware Paradox/IE), Dreamweaver CS3, HTML and ASP.  I have also created systems from the ground up -- documenting, data modeling, flowcharting (Visio), reporting and designing.  I have also written SQL stored procedures and triggers.
