Diana Elizabeth Marco

I am a researcher and university professor with a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Granada and a postdoctoral stay in the UK.

For more than 25 years I have worked in the scientific systems of Argentina and Spain, leading projects, research teams, and tutoring Ph.D. and postdoctoral researchers across ecology, evolution, microbiology, and metagenomics.

I combine experimental work with mathematical modelling and have an extensive record of original research publications; I have edited six scientific books and multiple journal issues, including a 2019 Frontiers in Microbiology special issue that reached 453,879 reads.

I learned and perfected English early in my career, using it daily for writing, speaking, and editing; my strong analytic and critical thinking, plus deep writing and editorial experience in English and Spanish, prepare me to transition effectively to roles such as AI Training Specialist.
