What I'm looking for

I’m looking for backend engineering work where I can build scalable REST APIs and microservices, strengthen security with JWT/RBAC and OAuth, and improve performance through database design, caching, and reliable deployment practices.

I’m a self-taught Backend Software Developer with 2+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable RESTful APIs, database architectures, and backend microservices. I specialize in Node.js, Nest.js, Express, TypeScript, SQL, MongoDB, and Redis caching, and I work end-to-end—from gathering business requirements and mapping system flowcharts to implementing production integrations like Paystack and OAuth 2.0.

I focus on reliability, security, and performance: I implement JWT and HTTP-only cookie storage, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Redis-backed session and rate limiting, and automated database backup and replication protocols. In featured production projects, I’ve engineered e-commerce REST endpoints with Paystack webhook verification and delivered high-performance mobile and client service backends with strong data validation and query optimization.
