I’m a Staff DevOps / Platform Engineer with 9 years building and operating infrastructure in regulated environments—healthcare systems and regional banking. I currently run multi-region EKS for HIPAA-covered workloads and lead a platform engineering initiative focused on end-to-end ownership.

I own infrastructure end-to-end with Terraform modules, GitOps pipelines, observability stacks, and compliance automation. I rebuilt a production deployment pipeline—moving from Jenkins with manual approvals to GitHub Actions + ArgoCD—cutting mean deploy time from 52 minutes to 9 minutes across 17 microservices, and I standardized provisioning so environment spin-up went from ~3 days to under 40 minutes self-served.

I integrated Checkov and 38 custom OPA policies into CI (catching ~94% of non-compliant configs before anything touches staging) and built observability from scratch (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty), reducing MTTR from ~2.4 hours to 18 minutes after a 4-hour P1 outage. Previously, I migrated 19 legacy .NET and Java applications from on-prem to AWS EKS at Visa with zero data loss and no customer-facing incidents, and I automated PCI-DSS evidence collection across 200+ controls, cutting audit prep from 6 weeks to 9 days.
