What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a role where I can apply child growth monitoring, IMAM and Vitamin A programs, and nutrition counselling—supporting health promotion teams with strong data skills and community outreach to improve nutritional outcomes.

I’m a self-driven Nutritionist with a BSc Honours foundation at Midlands State University and 12 months of hands-on public health nutrition experience through my attachment at Harare City Health Department. In multiple clinics, I conducted WHO-standardized anthropometric assessments, plotted growth on WHO Growth Charts, and supported early intervention for stunting, wasting, and underweight using IMAM protocols.

I’m also skilled in vitamin A supplementation, IMAM outpatient support (including appetite testing, RUTF dispensing, MUAC/Z-score-based classification, and defaulter follow-up), and delivering maternal and child nutrition counselling (ANC/PNC, IYCF, and diet guidance for NCDs and TB/HIV). Beyond clinical work, I’ve contributed to community outreach and campaigns, compiled nutrition surveillance data, and’m currently conducting a mixed-methods KAP dissertation using SPSS and qualitative thematic analysis.

Conducted under-five anthropometric assessments (weight/height, MUAC) and interpreted WHO growth charts to identify children at risk of stunting, wasting, and underweight across multiple clinics. Supported IMAM outpatient care by assisting with SAM/MAM diagnostics, appetite tests, RUTF dispensing, child follow-up, and maintained Vitamin A supplementation records and Mother-Baby Pair registers.
