I’m looking for roles where I can lead architecture end-to-end, mentor engineers, and build maintainable Ruby/Rails and distributed systems—partnering across product, infrastructure, and security to deliver reliable software at scale.

I’m a Staff Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing and building scalable web applications, distributed systems, and developer platforms. Deep in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, I turn complex business rules into maintainable services by introducing service objects, shared domain models, and well-defined APIs—so teams can extend the codebase without increasing complexity.

In my current role at Coinbase, I’ve owned features from architecture through production, optimizing ActiveRecord queries, PostgreSQL indexes, Redis caching, and Sidekiq jobs to reduce bottlenecks. I also build internal developer tooling and integrate LLM APIs (via Python and FastAPI) for documentation, internal workflows, and knowledge retrieval, while expanding logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to make incidents faster to diagnose.
