At the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, I served as principal communications advisor to the Director and General Officer-level leaders. I prepared talking points, media statements and briefing materials, and helped agency spokespersons prepare for interviews.
Across my DTRA career, I cleared more than 2,500 documents for public release without a security incident. As a certified Contracting Officer's Representative, I oversaw a $4.5M communications portfolio and produced video recognized with Telly Awards and the Defense Media Agency Merit Competition.
I translated chemical and biological defense research and development into briefings, articles and outreach products for government, academic and community audiences. I also managed DTRA's STEM Outreach Program and supported academic partnerships.
At AgriTech Forward Inc., I founded an AI-supported agricultural trade venture, named as a Kenya subrecipient under a U.S. Department of State funding opportunity and prime applicant on a USDA-NIFA federal grant submission. Earlier, in Air Force and Navy public affairs roles, I produced communications for military and public health audiences.
