What I'm looking for

I'm especially interested in helping organisations use technology to become more sustainable and meet the challenges of climate change through practical, effective applications.

I've built web and desktop applications for the scientific community through McQuillen Interactive since 2002, including building simulation tools for Lawrence Berkeley National Labs.

For LBNL, I've developed or contributed to IGSDB, Checkertool, BETTER, COMFEN, AERCalc, SensorSuitcase, SEED, and PlantInsight; IGSDB and Checkertool remain ongoing projects.

I was the sole web application developer for Science Communication Labs' NIGMS-funded iBiology Courses, creating an application that became the open-source KinesinLMS. I handle both design and coding, with a focus on user experience, practical solutions, and helping organisations use technology to become more sustainable.
