DANIEL SANTIAGO CAMACHO CALVO

I’m a Telecommunications Engineer with hands-on experience analyzing, managing, and controlling innovative solutions in wireless next-generation networks and FTTH fiber optic deployments. I bring strong problem-solving skills, decision-making under pressure, and a self-learning mindset paired with solid analytical thinking.

At Huawei Technologies Colombia, I worked as a Technical Site Survey Intern for Wireless Networks and later as a Technical Support Specialist for FTTH Networks. I prepared technical reports and operational documentation, supported field personnel with troubleshooting and technical guidance, and contributed to technical reporting, monitoring, and efficiency metrics tracking.

I also owned critical deployment activities such as performing site surveys, technical visits, and aerial data collection using a Phone UAV (drone). My responsibilities included control audits on equipment history and operational status, and supporting design review and correction to ensure successful nationwide wireless and fiber network deployments and service coverage.

I adapt quickly in fast-moving environments, balancing teamwork and leadership with proactive remote guidance and supervision. I strengthen my work with tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office, and I’m motivated to apply my training and certifications (CCNA and HCIA) to deliver reliable network performance.
