Daniela Mariño
@danielamario
I build geospatial and AI-driven decision-support workflows from complex structured and unstructured data.
What I'm looking for
I've delivered GIS platforms, spatial analysis, and geospatial databases for Ecuadorian government agencies, the Ministry of Electricity, Kinross Gold, and the City of Quito. At WHO/ISUH and the University of Lausanne, I automated retrieval and curation workflows that transformed more than 3 million web sources into a high-quality corpus supporting international urban health policy.
I'm completing a Doctorate in Geography/Earth System Science at the University of Zurich, exploring well-being through descriptions of natural landscapes. I combine GIS, remote sensing, NLP, LLMs, qualitative and quantitative methods, and participatory processes to create reproducible evidence for strategic planning, sustainability assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
