Damianos Diasakos

I've built full-stack web applications, real-time data pipelines, and systems projects through my Computer Engineering and Informatics studies at the University of Patras.

My projects include an emergency reporting platform using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and Leaflet.js, plus a Kafka and Spark traffic analytics pipeline that stores congestion and speed insights in MongoDB. I've also implemented distributed hash tables, multidimensional text indexes, database GUIs, and operating-system tooling.

I've supported IT operations with the Hellenic Army, researched network optimization at the University of Patras, and taught databases, microprocessors, and Arduino workshops. My work on a smart cane system and 5G network research has been published and presented internationally.
