At KiwiRail, I carried out inspections and condition assessments across an approximately 200 km rail corridor, covering track, formation, and corridor assets. I identified maintenance needs and contributed to upgrade planning and infrastructure improvements.
I coordinated with contractors, councils, track teams, and internal teams to support works planning and resolve site issues. I also used AutoCAD for small design and drafting tasks, including asset upgrades and modifications.
At Otago Regional Council, I supported inspection and monitoring of flood protection and drainage infrastructure during a major flood event, and assisted with maintenance and repair of flood control assets. My experience also includes hands-on construction work on new-build apartment projects with Norite Group.
