Colter Guthrie
@colterguthrie
Registered Nurse in emergency care, bringing 10+ years of ED triage to remote chronic care.
What I'm looking for
Across Level I–III emergency departments, I’ve spent 10+ years rapidly assessing symptoms, determining urgency, and deciding the right course of action. In my current travel nursing work, I adapt to each facility’s protocols and EHR systems.
At Capital Health Hopewell, Inspira Medical Center, RWJ University Hospital Hamilton, Holyoke Medical Center, Saint Barnabas Crisis Response, and Zuckerberg SF General Level I Trauma, I’ve cared for critical trauma, psychiatric, and high-volume patient populations. I serve as a point of contact between patients, families, and providers, coordinating next steps and explaining care clearly.
At Bozeman Health, I served as a charge nurse and team leader in a Trauma II/III ED, coordinating staffing, patient flow, and care assignments. I also reviewed records and documentation to help keep care plans current and accurate.
Earlier, I worked in emergency and surgical nursing at Billings Clinic Hospital. My six years at Zoot Enterprises in software development and QA included developing software solutions, automating systems administration tasks, and testing enterprise software—a background I bring to technology-enabled care and documentation.
