Colleta Chemhere

I am a Development Studies honours graduate with hands-on experience coordinating district-level health and social programmes in Zimbabwe. I have supported implementation of HIV and AIDS initiatives, organised community awareness sessions, and helped mobilise resources for outreach and behaviour change campaigns.

In my role as a District Intern at the National AIDS Council, I coordinated activities with local authorities, youth groups, and community-based partners, provided DHIS2 reporting guidance, and supported case management for vulnerable groups. I compiled progress reports and gathered field data to highlight trends and challenges.

I bring strengths in stakeholder liaison, training facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and logistical coordination for field activities. I promote teamwork, integrity, and accountability while prioritising cultural sensitivity and respectful engagement with marginalised populations.

I am passionate about improving access to information and services for adolescent girls, young women, and other vulnerable groups through results-oriented planning, clear communication, and empathetic community mobilisation.
