At Saint-Gobain, I industrialize ceramic armor products, including a new lightweight armor platform developed for a potential $100M market. I reduced material loss in an essential process from approximately 55% to under 5% and delivered $957K in technical variance reduction on a roughly $5M contract.
I design project scopes, timelines, experimental procedures, and go/no-go stage gates, while conducting V0 and V50 armor-piercing ballistic testing to ASTM standards. I also support customers in person, maintain armor quality, and represent Saint-Gobain at DEVCOM ARL, Shot Show, and AUSA meetings.
Previously at Technology Assessment & Transfer and SINTX Technologies, I won an Air Force AFWERX Phase I SBIR contract for complex-shaped 3D-printed silicon nitride and developed commercially available ceramic resins. I led a ceramic additive manufacturing suite relocation and upgrade, supported prototype and toll-processing work across biomedical, defense, and aerospace applications, and built partnerships with 3DCeram and Prodways.
My Rutgers research focused on ceramic photolithography, photocurable suspensions, ceramic microchip packages, and ballistic materials. I bring hands-on experience with material processing, characterization, rheometry, laboratory operations, technical training, and research leadership.
