Clarke Johnson
@clarkejohnson
Peer Health Navigator specializing in harm reduction, crisis support, and community-centered care.
What I'm looking for
I am a Peer Health Navigator experienced in harm reduction, crisis support, and community-centered mental health care. I collaborate with therapists, substance use specialists, and nursing staff to provide holistic, culturally competent support for underrepresented community members.
I coordinate and facilitate wellness groups such as WRAP and run accessible, judgment-free crisis interventions both in person and virtually. I am often on-call to assist members with day-to-day wellness planning and appointment advocacy.
I have taught and led trainings for organizations across Chicago, including virtual training for case managers and direct education at community resource centers. My background includes work with youth education programs, transgender resource services, and volunteer de-escalation teams.
I bring strong community organizing, public speaking, and project coordination skills, grounded in lived-experience-informed practice and a commitment to mutual aid, accessibility, and stigma-reducing care.
