At Included Health, I architect and operate backend APIs and domain services for clinical workflows, member records, and provider operations. I build transactional services with idempotent writes and correctness guarantees for care coordination data.
I also build LLM-powered workflow automation for clinical triage support, connecting retrieval and tool orchestration to member history across downstream systems while maintaining audit trails.
To keep health plan data reliable across services, I designed Kafka and SQS integrations with retry and dead-letter handling, and implemented fine-grained permissions and HIPAA-compliant audit logging for PHI-touching endpoints.
Previously at Strava, I designed REST APIs and asynchronous pipelines for activity feeds, GPS file ingestion, route computation, and geospatial indexing. I also migrated legacy endpoints to Docker and Kubernetes services on AWS and built CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and canary deployment gates.
