At Phillips 66 Wood River, I restored vacuum on the Crude & Vacuum unit from 35 to 3 mmHg, ending a two-year problem and increasing feed 60% while meeting asphalt spec. I also helped raise crude throughput 18% through vacuum-system restoration and coordinated heater work.
At ExxonMobil Baytown, I improved performance in refining units through troubleshooting and debottlenecking. My work included raising propane production 17% by diagnosing tray fouling and capturing savings by identifying optimization opportunities.
Earlier, at Baklang Group (Peso Energy Services), I increased debutanizer propane yield 10% by tracing plugged trays to an inefficient design, and cut heat-exchanger downtime 20% per year through continuous-improvement analysis.
I hold an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. I’ve also reviewed chemical engineering manuscripts for Enago and conducted reaction-kinetics research at the Center for Biorenewable Chemicals, where I helped improve Dimethyl Malate yield from 70% to 91%.
