Christina Ramos

I’m a Master’s-level School Counselor experienced supporting K–12 students’ social-emotional development, behavioral interventions, and academic planning within NYC DOE. I build guidance around SEL-based strategies, counseling check-ins, and clear, confidential documentation.

Through my work supporting students in meeting IEP goals, I collaborate closely with teachers and families to understand needs and track progress. I’m known for maintaining accurate student records while handling confidential data with attention to detail.

Before counseling, I spent six years as a paraprofessional (NYC DOE), providing 1:1 and small group support, helping with behavior management and student engagement, and assisting with classroom instruction and daily routines. I’m now seeking a PRN or remote counseling role where I can support student success through practical, relationship-driven interventions.
