I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my expertise in radiation safety and compliance while contributing to a team focused on health and safety in medical or nuclear environments.

I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in radiation safety and nuclear medical science. Currently, I serve as the Associate Radiation Safety Officer at the University of South Carolina, where I ensure compliance for over 45 analytical and medical x-ray units. My role involves collaborating with Principal Investigators to maintain adherence to state regulations and overseeing the Laser Safety Program. I take pride in developing and implementing comprehensive safety training programs that enhance awareness and compliance.

Prior to my current position, I served as a Nuclear Medical Science Officer in the United States Army, where I ensured compliance across multiple departments and conducted extensive radiation safety training. My experience also includes working as a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, where I performed technical inspections and provided critical support during humanitarian and combat operations. My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Health Physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where I focused on the effects of nuclear accidents.
