What I'm looking for

I seek a role in a collaborative, learning-focused company where I can apply cybersecurity skills, support operations, and grow into advanced security engineering.

I am an information security and technology professional with a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and currently pursuing honours in the same field. I hold a Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and SheCodes certifications, and I actively participate in hackathons to sharpen my problem-solving under pressure.

My practical experience includes tech support, database administration, and computer literacy tutoring at a university and part-time database administration for a consultancy. I provide user support, perform data backup and recovery, maintain hardware, and manage IT procurement and inventory.

I have worked on network and information security tasks such as vulnerability assessment, basic penetration testing, incident analysis, and threat-hunting, using tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, and Splunk. I also have experience with cloud platforms and automation using Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting.
