Chris Carazas

At ImpactPulse, I lead multi-tier impact evaluation design for NGOs and mission-driven clients, integrating the Capabilities Approach, SDGs, IRIS+, and Common Approach standards. I build participatory tools with beneficiaries and local communities across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

Previously at DAI, I connected business development, MEL, finance, and performance data across a global portfolio. I built Power BI win-loss dashboards, addressed recurring data gaps, and managed a distributed team of five while training colleagues in financial analysis, proposal development, and data practice.

My work spans SROI, impact valuation, community investment, biodiversity, global health, education, and local enterprise development. At Rio Tinto in Madagascar, I helped grow a community investment portfolio from $3M to $9M and managed biodiversity offset and avoidance zones with IUCN and local grassroots organizations.

I've worked directly with communities and partners across Latin America and Africa, and I bring lived experience from Paraguay, Ecuador, and Bolivia. I'm trilingual in English, Spanish, and French, and I care deeply about evaluation systems that help organizations learn from outcomes rather than simply report on them.
