What I'm looking for

I am seeking a dynamic role in cybersecurity that fosters growth and innovation, focusing on SOC operations and network defense.

I am a dedicated cybersecurity professional with over three years of experience in software engineering and system administration. Currently pursuing an MSc in Cybersecurity, I have honed my skills in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and identity/access management. My technical proficiency includes scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell, which I utilize to automate security tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

Throughout my career, I have gained practical experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, log monitoring, and network defense using tools such as Wazuh, Snort, and pfSense. My role as a System Administrator and Assistant Lecturer at Trinity College Kandy has allowed me to administer network infrastructure, implement secure system configurations, and deliver ICT lectures. I am passionate about contributing to cybersecurity roles in SOC, network defense, and Security Platform Engineering.
