What I'm looking for

I seek senior architect/engineering roles leading embedded, distributed and cloud systems, applying ML/AI, modernizing infrastructure, mentoring teams, and delivering secure, scalable production systems in collaborative, impact-focused environments.

I am a senior systems architect and engineer with decades of experience building embedded, distributed and cloud-based systems. I design and implement high-performance, highly available systems from device firmware through cloud services.

I have developed TensorFlow models for audio and vehicle classification, unified multiple databases into a single object model in PostgreSQL, migrated infrastructure to Kubernetes (k3s), and created Flutter apps to visualize geographic data. I publish open source projects (Paxos prototypes, YAMLsin) and built a RAG server for a local non-profit.

I have founded companies, raised venture funding, and held senior technical leadership roles (CTO, VP, Senior Principal Architect/Engineer). I have led teams across embedded, cloud and web stacks and delivered production systems for medical devices, public safety, telecom and enterprise customers.

I enjoy teaching and mentoring—running client classes on Kubernetes, Async Python, Zabbix and parallel programming—and I seek roles where I can modernize architectures, drive automation, and apply ML/AI to practical, impactful problems.
