CAROLINE KABLE

I’m a Production Director and studio leader focused on turning design intent into reliable, scalable production—especially for furniture and lighting. I’m currently consulting on the furniture and lighting collection for SGV, handling sourcing, product development, pricing, and vendor management.

Most recently, as Production Director at In Common With, I managed operations, logistics, and production end-to-end, including overseeing Environmental and leading the production team. I implemented inventory software and a 3PL, and I also stepped into HR—acting as the hiring support and managing the onboarding team.

At Matter Made, I managed the studio and owned production, shipping, and logistics for over 700 individual components across furniture, accessories, and eight lighting collections. My responsibilities covered sourcing, value engineering and pricing, vendor relations, inventory software and production management, quality control, and technical communications with the sales team and clients—supporting installations and shows while ensuring timely delivery.

I also co-founded Nothing New and run a fabrication shop in Red Hook, NY, building and managing a 1600 sq ft space for tenants across wood, metal, and desks. Earlier, I served as Production Manager at Studio Endo and began my fabrication career through hands-on studio work and teaching/assistant roles at RISD, bringing a maker’s mindset to every workflow I build.
