Carly Fellman
@carlyfellman
Certified Medical Assistant focused on patient flow, phlebotomy, and EKGs—combining clinical care and high-pressure leadership.
What I'm looking for
I’m a newly certified Medical Assistant trained through hands-on clinical externship and focused on reliable, patient-centered support. I bring a strong ability to work efficiently with limited software access while keeping care organized and consistent.
During my Student Externship at SouthCoast Health, I managed and assessed 30–40 patients daily and completed 180 hours assisting providers with exams and procedures. I prepared patient charts, obtained and recorded vital signs, performed EKGs, and completed venipuncture and injections.
I also handled specimen collection/preparations/testing, including urine analysis and culture sensitivities, and supported smooth patient flow through clear communication with staff and patients. I’m comfortable working in environments that require accuracy, urgency, and steady follow-through.
Before healthcare, I spent years as a Radio Repair Technician in the U.S. Army, where I built strong organizational and problem-solving skills and developed leadership through high-stress team work. I bring that same dependable mindset to every day in clinical operations.
