I am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with hands-on externship experience and over six years of customer-service background. I combine clinical training—including phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, and specimen handling—with strong administrative capabilities at a busy dermatology practice.

In my current role as a front desk receptionist I manage scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient intake, and accurate EHR maintenance while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive data. I help streamline patient flow and facilitate communication among patients, medical assistants, and physicians.

My externship included assisting physicians during exams, performing routine urinalysis, vision and hearing tests, and performing phlebotomy using butterfly and finger sticks. I apply a patient-centered approach, clear communication, and bilingual (basic Spanish) abilities to build rapport and improve patient experience.

I seek to contribute clinical competence, organizational strengths, and problem-solving skills to a healthcare team focused on quality patient care and efficient operations.
