What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead network transformations where automation and measurable reliability improvements matter—using Python, Cisco NSO, and multi-vendor IP/MPLS expertise to safely modernize Tier-1 service provider environments.

I’m a Senior Network Engineer with 12+ years of experience designing, migrating, and operating large-scale IP/MPLS networks for Tier-1 Service Providers across Latin America. I bring deep expertise in BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS, and Traffic Engineering, with a track record of leading multi-country transformations while reducing operational risk through automation.

In my current role as a Network Consulting Engineer — SP and NetDevOps at Cisco Systems (LATAM), I lead automation and transformation engagements using Python and Cisco NSO. I design and validate scalable network architectures across core, aggregation, and access, and I drive technical alignment with customer architects and operations teams on automation strategy and network evolution.

Previously, I led major AT&T Mexico SDN transport visibility and automation programs, including analyzing 7,000+ routers across 12 IS-IS regions and building BGP-LS policy architecture feeding PCE and Cisco WAE. I also delivered Cisco NSO ZTP integration for ASR 9000 IOS-XE devices, automated VRF migration for 5,000+ NCS IOS-XR routers with zero data loss, and accelerated maintenance validation—cutting change window validation time from 3 hours to 10 minutes.

I also build practical platforms for real operations: I developed Kubernetes-based microservices pipelines for CGNAT subscriber traceability with a Django dashboard, created multi-vendor KPI visibility dashboards using NetFlow and CLI polling, and generated EVPN Golden Configs using Cisco BPA and NSO orchestration. I’m supported by CCIE in Automation and CCNP credentials (Service Provider; Routing and Switching), and I consistently focus on measurable outcomes, clean documentation (HLD/LLD/NIP), and disciplined change management.
