John Wanjohi

I’m a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building enterprise software across healthcare, e-commerce, ERP, transport, and education. My strongest areas are Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Python, with experience across frontend development, backend APIs, databases, integrations, and system modernization.

Much of my work has involved taking complex business requirements and turning them into reliable, scalable applications used by real organizations. I particularly enjoy working on challenging systems, improving performance, debugging difficult issues, modernizing legacy applications, and designing solutions that are maintainable for the teams that support them.

I’m comfortable working across different technologies and adapting quickly to existing codebases and project environments. I also enjoy mentoring other developers, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contributing to architectural and technical decisions.

I’m particularly interested in remote opportunities involving modern web applications, enterprise systems, software architecture, cloud technologies, and practical AI-assisted development. Long term, I want to remain hands-on while growing further into technical architecture and engineering leadership.
