What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build and support production web systems plus honesty-first AI agents—prompting, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop review—while bringing practical, customer-facing operations experience into high-trust deployments.

I’m a self-taught web developer and AI systems builder with 20+ years across design, digital, and customer-facing operations. I run EchelonPulse, a one-person Cape Town studio building, hosting, and supporting WordPress/WooCommerce sites for South African small businesses.

On the web side, I handle production builds end-to-end—Elementor plus custom HTML/CSS/JS, theme/plugin management, LiteSpeed caching, migrations, DNS/SSL, and performance/QA on live sites. On the AI side, I designed and operate a live multi-agent ecosystem on Claude and local LLMs, including honesty-gated workflows like Pulse Copilot with mandatory human review on high-stakes questions.

My professional ethos is “honesty-first engineering”: systems that refuse to bluff on high-stakes questions and escalate to a human instead. That same discipline comes from years translating technical issues into plain language and operating at full accountability—from hospitality digital work to managing dry-cleaning operations across shops, factories, and P&L exposure.
