Burak Kunak

I am currently seeking a position as Project Manager in the field of Engineering / IT Project Management. I have an M.S. in Management Engineering from Long Island University (New York), and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Baskent University.

I am currently working at Huawei and have previously worked as Project Manager with over 10 large-scale defense programs/projects, at TUBITAK BILGEM ILTAREN (Turkey), Meteksan Defense (Turkey), ASELSAN-Mikes (Turkey), BAE Systems (USA), Image Solutions (USA) and PCH (USA).

 Throughout my career, I have successfully managed multi-disciplinary, transnational, virtual project teams, and have successfully completed design and manufacturing of multiple large-scale engineering and R&D (system, subsystem, HW, Embedded, SW) programs/projects. During these programs/projects, I have created and revised detailed project plans, depicting and managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, HR, communication, risk, integration and procurement. I have also systematically allocated resources, analyzed and mitigated risks, kept track of the project status and deliverables, issued change orders and handled change management as necessary. During these processes, I was able to prove my leadership skills in developing, scheduling, managing, inspiring and motivating teams and even other project managers to achieve their objectives, with effective communication and efficient human resource skills, while maintaining high quality standards.

 I always aim to reach the optimal solution, utilizing my exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and I am also confident in my quick learning ability to adapt to any kind of situation and environment.
