What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to combine my passion for science education with opportunities for research and project management.

As a passionate science teacher with experience in both Manatee and Hillsborough County Public Schools, I have successfully led the planning and execution of a multi-grade science curriculum for students in grades 9-12. My commitment to aligning lessons with state standards has not only enhanced student learning but also fostered a collaborative environment among my colleagues. I take pride in designing assessments that track student outcomes and improve performance, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.

In addition to my teaching role, I have a strong background in research as an OPS Research Analyst at the University of Florida Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. Here, I managed urban tree research projects that focused on public safety and ecological impact, utilizing tools like ArcGIS for data analysis. My ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for youth publications demonstrates my dedication to making science accessible and engaging for all.
