Catherine Wagoner

I am an educator with a strong background in environmental science and hands-on learning, focused on building curiosity and academic growth in K–12 students. My bachelor’s degree in Geoscience and Environmental Studies underpins my curriculum design and garden-based teaching.

I have led classroom and outdoor instruction from pre-K through high school, delivering state-aligned science curricula and facilitating workshops on energy, agriculture, and environmental justice. I create productive, respectful learning environments and collaborate closely with classroom teachers and specialists.

My experience includes classroom support as a paraprofessional, garden education managing multiple school learning gardens, and running cohort-based programs for high school students. I also served as a lab and teaching assistant at the university level, preparing students for assignments and exams.

I bring proven skills in lesson preparation, classroom management, data-driven interventions, and hands-on experiential learning. I seek roles where I can integrate outdoor education, environmental stewardship, and equity-focused STEM instruction to support student success.
