What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a role where I can leverage emotional regulation, IEP writing, and supervision to support student safety and enforce a positive culture—bringing strong organization, compassion, and a human-behavior lens to grow in student services.

I’m a results-oriented special education teacher focused on emotional regulation and behavioral redirection, with a proven track record of building positive culture and supporting safety for both students and staff. I’m frequently praised as enthusiastic and driven, and I rely on strong organization to keep plans moving forward.

I’ve taught in Level 3 and Level 4 Emotional Behavioral Disorder programs and in Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorders settings, pairing behavioral regulation with core academics. I supervise and support paraeducators and other support staff, ensuring everyone is aligned with student needs and classroom expectations.

A central part of my impact is writing and implementing IEPs, while managing legally required special education paperwork and evaluations. I’m comfortable maintaining multiple deadlines tied to IEP developments and meetings, and I bring a strong understanding of legal rights and processes.

Beyond education, I’ve brought discipline and reliability from prior experience as a Correctional Officer, where I maintained safety and security and supported structured intake procedures. I’m also completing graduate preparation in Special Education—Emotional Behavioral Disorders—to keep strengthening the human-behavior foundation behind my teaching and case management approach.
