Brian Lynch
@brianlynch
I lead enterprise people transformations, workforce strategy, and total rewards across complex healthcare systems.
What I'm looking for
I'm currently leading Human Resources and Employee Health at Penn Highlands Healthcare, a $1B+ integrated healthcare system with nine hospitals, 150+ locations, nearly 6,200 team members, and 849+ physicians. I partner with the CEO, Board, and executive leadership on enterprise people strategy, ERP implementation, workforce optimization, compensation modernization, retirement plan redesign, and organizational effectiveness.
Previously, as CHRO at Sheppard Pratt, I led a 65-person HR team across a 400-location behavioral health and social services organization operating in Maryland and 40 states. I consolidated health and welfare plans across six entities to improve benefits and reduce spend by $300,000, built a modern HR service model, and delivered a multi-year talent strategy for more than 500 leaders.
Across University of Maryland Medical System and Bon Secours Health System, I've led workforce transformation, employee experience, shared services, succession planning, pay-practice standardization, and engagement initiatives. My work has produced more than $12M in savings, aligned 50+ PTO plans and 100+ pay practices, created 25 apprenticeship programs, secured over $2M in workforce-development grants, and supported award-winning workplace cultures.
