I’m a Sr. Principal Data Engineer / Enterprise Database Architect with 25 years of enterprise database experience, specializing in architecture, administration, and engineering for large-scale production environments across relational and hybrid data tiers. I bring deep Oracle DBA/architecture expertise (through 19c) and expert-level administration for PostgreSQL, RDS, Aurora, and MySQL, alongside AWS and cloud modernization experience. I’m especially focused on high availability and disaster recovery, point-in-time recovery, and turning complex legacy systems into secure, validated cloud platforms.

In recent roles, I’ve led migrations and engineered data platforms with measurable results: at Rampart Technologies I implemented a Trino-based query federation layer, built a monitoring platform for cluster health and replication lag, and delivered a 30% performance improvement plus automated partitioning that increased windowing efficiency 100%.
