I’m a seasoned Senior Database Engineer with 9+ years of hands-on experience managing mission-critical database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. I specialize in administering Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, and Oracle Exadata while maintaining high availability with Oracle Data Guard and real-time replication using Oracle GoldenGate.

I strengthen reliability and performance through RMAN Backup & Recovery, structured troubleshooting, and performance diagnostics using AWR and ADDM. I also apply SQL tuning and execution plan analysis (including Explain Plan and SQL Trace) to keep systems efficient for production workloads.

In cloud and hybrid environments, I support scalable operations on AWS RDS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch. I’ve also led modernization efforts such as Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration using AWS DMS, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.

I bring automation and governance to daily operations by scripting with Shell and Python, and using tools like Ansible and Terraform to reduce manual overhead. I’m equally comfortable implementing secure database environments—covering encryption, access controls, auditing, and compliance alignment—so performance improvements never come at the expense of trust.
