I’m a results-driven Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience across backend, mobile, and web development. I’ve built and optimized high-traffic services using Kotlin with Spring Boot and Ktor, and I enjoy turning complex requirements into reliable, deployable software.

In my recent work with Safaricom, I developed backend services that improved system performance and scalability, and I led Android application development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. I contributed to product features for “My County” and supported the Falcon Android app, achieving 99.99% availability while also strengthening quality through unit testing (JUnit, Jest), reducing bug incidence by 90%.

I also bring infrastructure and delivery strength: I manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, and GitLab, and I’ve worked with AWS cloud infrastructure and tooling like Google Play Console for publishing. Alongside my engineering work, I founded Libetal—designing and building a ReactJS product with cloud and backend support in Ktor—along with creating open projects and Kotlin libraries that reflect how I like to ship: thoughtfully, iteratively, and with strong engineering foundations.
