Boglárka Kiss

I’m a Freelance Subtitle Translator who produced and edited subtitle tracks for various streaming platforms through ALTA Média, working independently to meet deadlines and quality standards for submissions. I’m careful about clarity, timing, and readability because good localization directly shapes the viewer’s experience.

To deliver consistent work, I’m self-trained in Subtitle Edit software and I actively apply that workflow to produce and edit subtitle tracks remotely. I’m comfortable working at speed while still holding to quality expectations.

Alongside localization, I’m building my creative craft through game design and graphics at Uppsala University, with a major in Game Design and a minor in Graphics.

With Odin’s Defense (2023–present), I participated in creating a student indie tower defense game for showcase at Gotland Game Conference—nominated for three awards and winner of Jury Spotlight. I collaborated with six other students across disciplines, designed and wireframed User Interface elements, and participated in running playtests, using tools like Unity and Unreal Engine 5.
