What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a biomedical imaging research role where I can optimize MRI protocols, troubleshoot in-session issues, and build/validate VR-based experimental paradigms in a collaborative clinical environment.

I’m driven by a passion for learning across disciplines, and biomedical engineering is where I feel the strongest pull. I love connecting different fields to create something meaningful—and I’m eager to evolve while adding value through hands-on research.

As a Research Assistant in translational neurodegeneration and at the Brain Imaging Facility, I optimize MR sequence parameters within project-specific imaging protocols and troubleshoot technical issues during imaging sessions. I conduct structural and metabolic MRI measurements (¹H, ²³Na, ³¹P) and keep structured documentation of acquisition procedures and measurement results to ensure reproducible, reliable data.

I also support experimental design and systems work: I develop paradigms using Python, PsychoPy, and Unreal Engine; validate imaging setups and record acquisition parameters; and provide technical support across multiple fMRI projects. Alongside that, I’ve built VR environments for behavioral and MRI studies, including an olfactory simulation that used Unreal Engine and PsychoPy with a custom TCP protocol to control an olfactometer.
